What the checker looks at
- Length. Google accepts up to 1500 characters, but people see only the first lines before "more", so the first sentence has to carry the post.
- Phone numbers. A phone number in the text is one of the most common reasons a post is rejected; your profile already has a Call button.
- Links. Links in the text are not clickable. Put the address on the post's button instead.
- Capitals and punctuation. All-capital words and "!!!" look like spam to readers and are a frequent reason for rejection.
- Post type. Updates leave the profile after about 7 days; offers and events stay until their end date. More on that in why Google posts expire.
The checker runs in your browser and sends nothing anywhere. It does not know every reason Google can reject a post — a stock photo Google recognises, or a topic in a sensitive category, can also cause it — but it catches the usual ones.

Questions
Why was my Google post rejected?
Google rarely says exactly why. The usual reasons are a phone number in the text, a link in the text, shouting capitals, a stock photo, or a restricted topic. Fix those and post again.
How long should a Google post be?
Long enough to say one thing well: two to four short sentences usually beat a full 1500 characters, because only the first lines show before "more".
Can I add a photo?
Yes, and you should: posts with a real photo of your work stand out. Use your own photo, not a stock image.
Is the checker free?
Yes, with no sign-up. More free tools are on the tools page.
