Where this comes from
Social for Shops is made by the team behind StandupCRM, the point-of-sale and customer software that runs the counter in phone, computer and console repair shops across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Connecticut. Running the counter for those shops meant seeing the same thing in every one: the work was good, the reviews were good, and the Google profile had not been touched since the grand opening.
Social media was originally a tab inside StandupCRM. In 2026 we split it out into its own product, because a cafe or a landscaper needs the posting done and has no use for a repair-shop point of sale. StandupCRM keeps the counter. Social for Shops keeps the marketing. Same team, two products, so a shop pays for the one it needs.
What we run ourselves
Everything on this site describes things we do for real storefronts every week: Google Business Profile posts and review replies for repair shops, a dessert cafe's menu and photos on its profile, a landscaper's seasonal posts named by town. The guides on this site are written from that work, with the dates they were last updated, and they change when Google changes.
How it is built
Every account is connected through the platform's own login, through Google's, Meta's and TikTok's official APIs. We never hold a password. Access can be revoked from either side at any time, and disconnecting removes nothing from your profiles. There is also a connector for Claude, which works through the same accounts and the same permissions. Posts are drafted by software and approved by you, unless you deliberately let a campaign run on its own.
Reach us
Email hello@socialforshops.com or call (401) 338-8601. We are onboarding early-access shops one at a time, so a real person answers and sets the account up with you. What the product does is on the Google Business Profile scheduler page; who it is for is on who it is built for.
Privacy and terms
How we handle your data and your connected accounts is in the privacy policy. The service terms are in the terms of service. Both are written in plain language and short enough to read.
See it on your own profiles
We are onboarding a small group of shops now, one at a time. Tell us about the shop and we will connect your accounts with you.
